Driven quantum harmonic oscillators: A working medium for thermal machines

The study of quantum thermodynamics is key to the development thermal machines. In contrast most previous proposals based on discrete strokes, here we consider a working substance that permanently coupled two or more baths at different temperatures and continuously driven. To this end, investigate parametrically driven harmonic oscillators heat via collision model. Using thermodynamically consistent local master equation, derive flows power device which can operate as an engine, refrigerator accelerator analyze instantaneous average efficiencies coefficients performance. Studying regimes both slow fast driving system, find increased frequency lead change functioning dissipator.
